The 60th Head of the Charles Regatta will take place October 17th-19th in Boston, Massachusetts. The Head of the Charles is the 3rd largest regatta in the world with 2,698 entries and about 11,500-12,000 athletes racing. Desired entries exceed the regatta’s capacity and crews must have placed in the top half the previous year in their specific event or get an at-large entry through a draw to be officially entered. The course runs three miles long and is known for its challenging navigation through 6 bridges and many turns.
