[GRP Biathlon]: Summer Nationals

The Cedar Sprig biathletes traveled to Jericho, VT for the annual North American Summer Biathlon Championships, August 6-7.

Kelsey Dickinson opened up the weekend with a win in the women’s sprint. Kelsey shot clean and won by 40 seconds. Tara Geraghty-Moats placed 7th with Jackie Garso finishing in 9th.

In the men’s sprint, U23 athlete Bjorn Westervelt placed 7th with Raleigh Goessling in 15th. Jake and Luke Brown sat out the weekend due to COVID.

Kelsey Dickinson completed the two-race series with a 2nd place in the women’s mass start. Tara had her best Summer Nationals result, placing 5th in the mass start, with Jackie in 6th, and U23 GRP biathlete Emma Stertz in 10th.

Bjorn finished 6th in the men’s mass start with Raleigh in 14th.
