GRP Snow Incoming ‘25 Class
Please join us in welcoming 6 new members to the Green Racing Project ski and biathlon teams. You’ll recognize many of them as returning from our summer U23 and college training groups. Brian Bushey, Finn Sweet, Jack Christner, Jack Young, and Keelan Durham all join the ski team while Tim Cobb is added to GRP Biathlon. This strong incoming class brings impressive collegiate, national, and international results as well as diverse interests and skillsets to the Craftsbury community. What’s more? All these guys are Vermonters. Read on to learn more about these athletes:
Brian Bushey
Hometown: Montpelier, VT
Brian returns to Craftsbury after being a stalwart on the GRP summer U23 training team for the last few summers. Brian recently placed 3rd in the 20km skate at the NCAA Championships where he helped his team, the University of Utah, to a team championship. Brian will graduate with a degree in environmental and sustainability studies.
“I am excited and grateful to have the opportunity to return to Vermont to continue ski racing with the Green Racing Project,” Brian says. “I am most looking forward to seeing how much progress we can accomplish as a team and getting to know and embrace the great culture and goals of the GRP and outdoor center.

Jack Christner
Hometown: Ripton, VT
“I’m stoked to be joining the GRP community - it's an incredible opportunity that will support me in reaching my skiing goals.” - Jack
An environmental studies and architecture double major at Middlebury College, Jack has also been training in Craftsbury through the summers as part of the collegiate training group. He placed 6th in the classic sprint at US Nationals this year in Anchorage, Alaska.

Tim Cobb
Hometown: Westford, VT
“I’m super excited to come back east and join the GRP and the Craftsbury community. Growing up just an hour away, I’ve spent a lot of time training and getting to know the ski community in Craftsbury. I’m excited to be a part of it and looking forward to helping get the next generation of skiers into biathlon at Craftsbury.”
Tim attended Montana State University where he majored in kinesiology and minored in coaching. Tim has been racing for the Crosscut Mountain Sports Center in Bozeman and placed 3rd in an Austrian Biathlon Cup sprint this winter.

Keelan Durham
Hometown: Corinth, VT
A geoscience major from Williams College, Keelan Durham adds to the sprinting acumen of the incoming class. Among other impressive results this year, he qualified 3rd in the Middlebury Carnival classic sprint.
Keelan shares, “I have been traveling to the Outdoor Center to ski race since I was in middle school and it's a dream to be joining the community in Craftsbury and skiing with the Green Racing Project!”

Finn Sweet
Hometown: Waterbury, VT
Finn continues his Craftsbury skiing journey: from junior skier to summer collegiate skier to now full-time GRP. He will graduate from UVM with an agriculture major. After a breakthrough performance at the 2025 NCAA Championships in the 10k classic race, placing 2nd, Finn is ready to get to work.
He says, “I am really excited to return back to the club I grew up racing for, it feels good to be going home. I can't wait to get back to working on some trail maintenance and throw a wrench at some projects in the shop.”

Jack Young
Hometown: Jay, Vermont
Jack has already been representing the GRP on the world stage, placing 18th in the skate sprint at the World Championships in Trondheim, Norway this year. An educational studies and history double major with a minor in math, Jack will graduate from Colby College this spring.
“I am excited to join the GRP because the Craftsbury Outdoor Center is the ski community that I grew up in,” Jack says. “Craftsbury is a really special place for me, and I'm excited to be officially racing for GRP.
