2025/2026 GRP Snow Season Preview

The competition season for the GRP Snow (xc ski and biathlon) team has already begun and the Cedar Sprigs have been firing on all cylinders. Here’s a preview of what’s ahead (with a quick peek at what’s already happened).

GRP Ski

Most of the GRP skiers traveled to Anchorage, Alaska on November 28th to prepare for 2 weekends of SuperTour racing. This domestic circuit will be the focus for most of the team through US Nationals and beyond as the main route to qualify for international racing, including the Olympics. Jack Young has been racing Period 1 of the World Cup, recently placing 4th in the Davos sprint! Here’s a look at the Domestic and WC schedules for the skiers.

GRP Biathlon

There have been 4 Cedar Sprigs racing either the World or IBU Cups during Period 1: Jake Brown, Kelsey Dickinson, Margie Freed and Bjorn Westervelt. The rest of the biathlon team has been training at home, racing local races, and preparing for December International Team Trials.
