Former Green Racing Project (GRP) biathlete Raleigh Goessling will return to the team, taking over as the GRP Biathlon head coach after a stint as Assistant Program Director and Biathlon Director for the Methow Valley Nordic Ski Education Foundation in Washington.

Originally from Minnesota, Raleigh's competitive career included time at Maine Winter Sports Center, University of New Hampshire as well as Craftsbury. During that time he represented the US at the IBU Cup, European Champs and Youth/Junior World Championships.

"Returning to Craftsbury after 5 years as a GRP athlete feels good," writes Raleigh. "I'm planning to apply the practical knowledge I have from my time on the team, while leveraging the huge pool of sport specific knowledge already in place on the COC staff."

Raleigh will hit the ground running, as the training year has resumed and will kick off with a training camp in Bend, OR starting Monday the 6th.

Join us in welcoming Raleigh, partner Bridget Schodorf and Fergus the dog back to the Craftsbury community!
