6 current or legacy Green Racing Project rowers contested the fifth annual Tuxedo 1886 Regatta on Tuxedo Lake on Sunday, October 11.

In the new exhibition pairs, Jesse Ryno and his pair partner, visiting rower Mike Herman, posted the second-fastest time trial (6:32) to earn a spot in the final, where they finished second to Peter Chatain and Gus Rodriguez. GRPer Quin Woods and Evan Falstrup also raced the pair, just four seconds back in the time trial (6:36).

In his first Tuxedo, Matthew Skubas won his opening race against Breck Duncan, 7:01.3 to 7:05.1. He then lost his semifinal to James Fetter by two seconds (Matthew's time was 7:02). Fetter went on to finish second to Sam Melvin.

In the women's bracket, defending champion Paige Wheeler lost a close first-round race to Eva Frohnhofer, 7:44.1 to 7:42.4, and Catie Castle lost to eventual finalist Katy Flynn. Alina Hagstrom won the women's title. GRP legacy athlete Holly Drapp won the new women's pair with Margaret Hedeman.
